Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Gilgit & Drive to Hunza
Fly to Gilgit. Drive to Hunza via the Karakoram Highway. Stop at the Rakaposhi Viewpoint.
Day 2: Karimabad & Forts
Visit the ancient Baltit and Altit Forts. Wander through Karimabad bazaar. Sunset at Eagle's Nest.
Day 3: Attabad Lake & Passu
Drive through the Pak-China Friendship Tunnels to the turquoise Attabad Lake. Continue to Hussaini Suspension Bridge and Passu Cones.
Day 4: Khunjerab Pass
Full day excursion to the Pak-China border at Khunjerab Pass (4,693m), the highest paved international border crossing in the world.
Day 5: Hopper Valley & Glacier
Drive to Nagar Valley to witness the Hopper Glacier. Optional short hike to the glacier viewpoint.
Day 6: Return to Gilgit
Drive back to Gilgit. Explore the local bazaar and the Kargah Buddha rock carving.
Day 7: Departure
Transfer to Gilgit Airport for your flight back to Islamabad.
