Rental Policies & Mountain Safety

Professional Mountain Driver Included

To comply with regional safety norms and extreme terrain hazards, Shyok Tours operates mandatory driver-accompanied rentals only (no self-drives). Our drivers are veteran high-altitude experts certified for Karakoram passes.

Fuel-to-Fuel Consumption Basis

All rental quotes exclude fuel. Vehicles are delivered with a full tank and guests are required to return them with a full tank or reimburse consumption based on actual trail distance covered.

Driver Logistics & Lodging

Driver lodging and food are seamlessly covered by our concierge desk during regional stays. For custom high-country expeditions outside Skardu/Hunza, a nominal daily stipend is arranged with guests in advance.

Minimum Hire Duration

A minimum rental commitment of 3 consecutive days is required to secure our premium fleet units and concierge support. Daily rates scale down for bookings exceeding 10 days.
