Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Gilgit & Drive to Hunza
Fly to Gilgit and drive to Hunza. The landscape transforms into a stunning white panorama.
Day 2: Karimabad Winter Walks
Explore Baltit and Altit Forts against the backdrop of snow-covered peaks. Enjoy traditional Hunza winter cuisines like Dawdo soup.
Day 3: Frozen Attabad Lake
Visit Attabad Lake, which often freezes completely in mid-winter. Witness the majestic Passu Cones wrapped in snow.
Day 4: Sost Border Town
Drive towards Sost (Khunjerab is usually closed). Experience the stark, beautiful winter landscapes of Upper Hunza (Gojal).
Day 5: Return to Gilgit
Drive back to Gilgit. Enjoy the peaceful, tourist-free winter ambiance of the Karakoram Highway.
Day 6: Departure
Transfer to Gilgit Airport for your flight back to Islamabad.
