Journey Route
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Islamabad – Skardu – Khaplu
Morning flight from Islamabad to Skardu. Afternoon travel from Skardu to Khaplu (approx. 3 hours). Evening explore Khaplu Fort, Bara Pond, and Saling Valley.
Day 2: Khaplu – Kanday – Minglu Broq
Morning drive to Kanday Village. Start trek from Kanday to Minglu Broq (~4 hours, soft trek). Set up camp and explore the peaceful surroundings.
Day 3: Minglu Broq – Nangma Valley – Kanday – Khaplu
Morning trek to Nangma Valley (~3-4 hours). Photography of the stunning valley. Afternoon trek back to Kanday and drive to Khaplu.
Day 4: Khaplu – Skardu – Islamabad
Travel from Khaplu to Skardu and fly back to Islamabad. (Optional: Extend for Amin Braq basecamp).
Day 5: Optional: Amin Braq Basecamp
Instead of returning on Day 3, trek 2 hours from Nangma Valley to Amin Braq Basecamp. Camp overnight.
Day 6: Optional: Return
Explore Amin Braq Basecamp. Trek back to Kanday, drive to Khaplu, and return to Skardu/Islamabad.
