Day 1: Arrival in Skardu
Arrive in Skardu. Complete mandatory military NOCs and paperwork.
Day 2: Skardu Exploration
Buffer day for NOC processing. Explore local Skardu sights.
Day 3: Skardu to Khaplu
Drive to Khaplu. Overnight stay at a heritage hotel.
Day 4: Khaplu to Goma
Cross the Dansam checkpost (strict military clearance required). Enter the heavily restricted Siachen access road to Goma.
Day 5: Gyari Sector
Drive to the Gyari Sector, the memorial site near the Siachen glacier base. High altitude and extreme remoteness.
Day 6: Bilafond La Viewpoints
Explore safe military-approved viewpoints for surrounding peaks and glacier tongues. Extreme environment.
Day 7: Return to Khaplu
Begin the long drive back through the military zones to the civilian town of Khaplu.
Day 8: Khaplu to Skardu
Return to Skardu. Rest and recover from the intense high-altitude journey.
Day 9: Buffer Day
Extra buffer day in Skardu for any delays in the restricted zones.
Day 10: Departure
Fly from Skardu to Islamabad.
